New Jinse (NJZ) Group disclosed their stance after the court proceedings regarding the injunction filed by their agency, Adeo, to preserve their agency status and prohibit advertising contract signing with NJZ members. On the morning of the 7th, NJZ members tearfully expressed their reluctance to return to Adeo. The court session for the injunction application against NJZ members was held at the Seoul Central District Court. Adeo's CEO, Kim Joo Young, and five NJZ members were present. During the proceedings, each NJZ member took the opportunity to speak their minds. Hayrin spoke about feeling powerless witnessing Adeo's lack of action towards Hive and other labels that tarnished their reputation. Daniel shared the challenges and anxieties faced during the comeback preparations disrupted by the legal conflict. Hyerin emotionally emphasized the irreplaceable support and care received from their CEO, Min Hee Jin. Hani speculated that Adeo's legal actions stemmed from fear of NJZ's potential. Minji expressed the heartache of her debut dream being shattered despite extended training. NJZ alleges that Adeo reneged on promises made during their debut process, leading to discrimination against them. As the court proceedings concluded, Daniel tearfully asserted their disinterest in reconciling with Adeo due to lack of trust and protection. The court requested both parties to submit necessary evidence by the 14th. NJZ and Adeo have been embroiled in a contract dispute since November last year. NJZ officially terminated their exclusive contract with Adeo in November and commenced activities independently as NJZ. They announced a new song release at an upcoming event in Hong Kong. Adeo insists that their contract with NJZ remains valid until July 31, 2029, rejecting claims of breach of trust. They filed a lawsuit against NJZ in December for contract validation and an injunction in January.
