NU'EST's Former Member Baekho Parts Ways with Pledis Entertainment After 13 Years

After a successful 13-year journey, Baekho, the former member of the renowned group NU'EST, has officially bid farewell to Pledis Entertainment as of March 6.

Reports from News1 Korea confirmed the news on the 6th, revealing that Baekho and Pledis Entertainment reached a mutual agreement to end their collaboration. Both parties engaged in thoughtful discussions, ultimately deciding to part ways amicably, extending well wishes for each other's future endeavors. With this decision, Baekho will be concluding his tenure with Pledis, marking an end to over a decade of collaboration.

In an official statement, Pledis Entertainment conveyed their appreciation to Baekho's loyal fan base:

"We extend our deepest gratitude to all the fans who have unwaveringly supported Baekho.

The exclusive contract with Baekho is set to conclude on March 14. Following extensive conversations about the trajectory of his career, both Baekho and Pledis Entertainment have mutually agreed to conclude the contract.

Since debuting with NU’EST in 2012, Baekho has carved out a distinguished path as a singer-songwriter, venturing into musicals, variety shows, and diverse entertainment avenues. As a token of appreciation to his steadfast supporters, Baekho will release a digital single on March 14, signifying the culmination of his official activities under Pledis Entertainment.

Baekho made his debut in 2012 as part of NU'EST, Pledis's inaugural boy group, captivating audiences with hits like 'Hello,' 'Queen's Knight,' and 'Love Paint.' His journey continued with his participation in the NU'EST W subunit post the group's disbandment in 2022.
