Former MBC reporter and Garosero Research Institute CEO Kim Se Ui has been cleared of all charges in a lawsuit brought against him by YouTuber Tzuyang (Park Jeong Won). The Gangnam Police Station in Seoul revealed on the 4th that the accusations against Kim for various offenses including violating communication laws and leaking business secrets did not merit any charges.

Authorities determined that Kim’s broadcasts pertaining to Tzuyang did not breach stalking or privacy laws, as Tzuyang, boasting 11.4 million subscribers, falls under the category of a public figure or celebrity. Kim's offer to cease broadcasting about Tzuyang in exchange for clarification on controversial matters such as alleged abortion and tax evasion were construed by police as a request for elucidation rather than a threat.

The police also acknowledged the public interest surrounding Tzuyang’s alleged misdeeds, deeming them as lawful subjects for discussion under freedom of expression. In response to Tzuyang’s claims of false accusations and personal attacks propagated by Kim, Attorney Kim So Yeon defended Kim's innocence, asserting that Tzuyang's litigious actions have consistently been unsuccessful.

With tensions escalating, Attorney Kim So Yeon hinted at further legal proceedings against Tzuyang's legal representative for false allegations, in collaboration with Foot-and-Mouth-Yeok. The ongoing legal battle between the parties continues to captivate public interest, shedding light on the intricacies of defamation and free speech in the digital age.
