Sara Rivers Sues Diddy for Sexual Harassment, Abuse, and Career Sabotage on "Making the Band 2"
Industry mogul Diddy is facing a $60 million lawsuit from Sara Rivers, a former contestant on the reality show "Making the Band 2" and a member of Da Band. In the lawsuit filed on February 28, Rivers alleges that Diddy subjected her to sexual harassment, assault, and a toxic work environment during her time on the show.
According to Rivers, Diddy engaged in inappropriate behavior, including cornering her, making suggestive comments, and controlling her daily activities. She also claimed that he humiliated her publicly, including an incident where she and her bandmates were made to walk a long distance to fetch cheesecake.
In addition to the alleged harassment, Rivers accuses Diddy of sabotaging her music career by disbanding Da Band and blocking her from opportunities in the industry. She also highlighted the low payment she received for her participation on the show.
Rivers recently spoke out about her experiences in a documentary titled "Diddy: The Making of a Bad Boy," where she recounted the incidents of harassment and abuse she faced. The lawsuit not only targets Diddy but also includes other entities such as MTV, Viacom, and Universal Music Group.
Diddy's legal team has refuted all claims, describing them as false and opportunistic. The lawsuit from Rivers is part of a larger wave of legal challenges against Diddy, with several individuals coming forward to accuse him of misconduct.
