BTS's J-Hope Reveals the Contents of His Refrigerator

In the recent episode 11 of JTBC's 'Please Take Care of My Refrigerator' that aired on the 2nd, BTS's J-Hope and celebrity chef Heo Sung-tae appeared as guests, engaging in a fierce cooking battle. During the show, J-Hope expressed his admiration for chef Yoon Nam-no, revealing that he was captivated by his charm after watching him on a cooking show and even posted about him on social media.

J-Hope humorously confessed that Yoon Nam-no once stated that he knew the members of BTS but wasn't familiar with J-Hope himself, eliciting laughter from the hosts. Surprised by this revelation, Choi Hyun-seok exclaimed, "Are you serious?" To which Yoon Nam-no explained, "I don't even have a TV at home. I just come home to sleep. Can someone help me out here?"

The highlight of the episode was when J-Hope's refrigerator was unveiled. From various beverages to homemade side dishes, J-Hope shared his preference for carbonated drinks over water, emphasizing that it's a must-have with every meal. He also mentioned that he enjoys home-cooked meals to break the monotony of delivery food.

Notably, J-Hope revealed his habit of collecting and storing leftover sauces from food deliveries, stating that he finds it wasteful to discard them. This thrifty practice impressed the show's hosts, with Lee Eun-ji commenting, "Saving sauces like this must be the secret to becoming a world-class chef." J-Hope further explained his unique combinations of sauces for enjoying chicken in unexpected ways.

Beyond his cooking talents, it was reported last year that J-Hope purchased a luxurious 232.86㎡ (70 pyeong) penthouse at Aper Han River in June 2020, along with owning two additional apartments in Seongdong-gu's Seongsu-dong area. With a reported value of 120 billion won, J-Hope's property portfolio amounts to a staggering 270 billion won when considering all four properties.
