Wide Neck, the rapper who skyrocketed to fame with his unforgettable mugshot, has landed back in jail facing serious felony charges related to explicit videos sent to minors and others.
Charles Dion McDowell, also known as “Wide Neck,” was recently arrested in Cherokee County, Georgia, where he is facing multiple felonies. These charges include sending explicit images without consent, transmitting obscene material to minors, and making harassing phone calls.
Allegedly, Wide Neck sent explicit videos without permission to a woman's family members, including her 13-year-old son, 16-year-old daughter, and even her mother. Another individual also reportedly received these inappropriate materials.
These explicit materials were sent numerous times via Wide Neck’s phone and laptop. Currently, he is being held without bond in Cherokee County Jail with additional holds from Crisp County and a probation violation from Escambia County.
This is not the first time Wide Neck has faced legal issues; he has a history of arrests dating back to 2010 for charges such as stalking and drug possession.
Despite his legal troubles, Wide Neck amassed a huge online following of nearly one million Instagram followers, leveraging his viral mugshot from 2018. Teaming up with “Daddy Long Neck,” he ventured into the world of Hip-Hop, releasing music and gaining attention for his unique online presence and collaborations.
While his internet fame briefly shone bright, Wide Neck’s legal problems have consistently overshadowed his entertainment career.
