Stefon Diggs Launches $1 Million Lawsuit Against Reality Star Mulan Hernandez After Altercation

NFL star Stefon Diggs has taken legal action against reality TV sensation Mulan Hernandez, also known as Mia Jones, along with her associate Brianna "Brii" Mack, for damages amounting to $1 million.

The lawsuit, filed in Harris County, Texas, alleges that Jones engaged in assault, extortion, trespassing, and property destruction during an incident at Diggs' residence on June 7, 2024, as reported by the Houston Chronicle.

According to Diggs, the Houston Texans wide receiver, Jones physically assaulted him, made threats about his professional career, and vandalized his personal belongings, including a $130,000 watch, a gaming system, and his cellphone, which she purportedly tossed into a toilet. Diggs claims that she also refused to vacate the premises.

In the legal documents, it's stated that Jones menacingly warned Diggs that he wouldn't be able to play that season and brandished various weapons, including a firearm, on multiple occasions.

Diggs, who has recently been romantically linked to Cardi B and Yung Miami, has accused Jones and Mack of attempting to extort significant sums from him by coercing him to pay up or face career-ending public allegations.

Kent Schaffer, Diggs' legal counsel, rebuffed the accusations against his client, contending that Jones was seeking financial benefits from a brief and casual relationship. Schaffer remarked that young athletes like Diggs often encounter such predicaments and asserted that Diggs had endeavored to avoid unnecessary conflicts.

On June 7, Jones purportedly sought medical treatment, citing a slip on a damp kitchen floor, though she claimed she did not lose consciousness. After a negative CT scan, she later alleged, on June 14, that she had been struck at the back of her head.

The lawsuit additionally claims that Jones and Mack are liable for causing emotional distress purposefully and are embroiled in a conspiracy against Diggs.

Jones Refutes Claims as Sensationalist

Responding via social media, Jones dismissed the lawsuit as sensationalist and alleged that Diggs had assaulted her. She asserted that she had sustained a concussion, been provided medication at Diggs' medical team's request, and shared a medical report dated June 7, 2024, to support her claims.

"This lawsuit is an attempt to preempt the forthcoming truth," she wrote. "I refuse to be intimidated or silenced. Recollecting this incident is extremely distressing for me, especially during my recovery. Domestic violence is a scourge I wouldn't wish on anyone, and every hidden deed will eventually surface."
