BLACKPINK's Lisa recently appeared as a special guest on the YouTube show 'Zip Daesung,' where she had an engaging conversation with her YG Entertainment senior, Big Bang's Daesung. The two delved into various topics, such as Lisa's solo album 'Alter Ego' and the challenges of managing her label. Interestingly, Lisa confessed that she feels more at ease communicating in Korean rather than English.

When discussing her track "Born Again feat. Doja Cat & RAYE," Daesung complimented the song's killer rhythm, to which Lisa expressed her appreciation and revealed her love for the song. She mentioned that she regularly listens to it in its entirety during flights.

During the conversation, Daesung was intrigued by Lisa's habit of listening to her own album and remarked that it must be exceptional for her to enjoy it so much. He shared his own perspective, mentioning that he tends to avoid listening to his music post-release as it makes him a bit self-conscious hearing his voice on the album. Daesung also playfully mentioned feeling like it might come across as narcissistic, using the term in English.

In a lighthearted moment, Lisa admitted she was unfamiliar with the term "narcissist," adding that she hears it frequently but doesn't know the exact meaning. Daesung, surprised by this revelation, acknowledged Lisa's English proficiency and was taken aback by her prioritizing Korean over English.

Lisa then shared that she feels most comfortable speaking Thai, followed by Korean and then English. She explained her process for English interviews, stating that she first formulates her responses in Korean before translating them into English. Daesung was visibly amazed by this revelation, prompting Lisa to confidently affirm her preference for Korean-first thinking.

The interaction between Lisa and Daesung on 'Zip Daesung' offered fans a glimpse into Lisa's linguistic journey and provided a refreshing perspective on language preferences in her multilingual world.
