Snoop Dogg Hits Back at Suge Knight Over Tupac Controversy
Snoop Dogg shuts down Suge Knight's recent allegations about Tupac Shakur's death, refusing to engage with the drama.
Dismissing Suge Knight's startling claims connecting him to Tupac Shakur's demise, Snoop suggests that the Death Row Records co-founder is resentful of Snoop's 2022 acquisition of the label.
Knight stirred speculation by repeating rumors about Snoop's involvement in Shakur's murder and insinuating that Snoop was trying to help the alleged orchestrator of the rap icon's killing.
Taking to Instagram, Snoop responded to Knight's accusations, calling him out for spreading falsehoods.
"This guy won't stop talking about me," Snoop wrote alongside a clip of Suge Knight claiming that Snoop Dogg wants Keefe D released from jail. "Mad because I own Death Row and see through your lies."
During an interview with The Art of Dialogue, Knight alleged that individuals were attempting to free Keefe D, who he claimed is divulging sensitive information, hinting at potential repercussions for Snoop, among others, and Sean "Diddy" Combs.
In a previous interview, Knight also stated that Ray J informed him of Snoop's admission of involvement in Tupac's death, alleging that Snoop confessed to financing the hit on 'Pac.'
Starting as one of Death Row Records' key artists, Snoop's relationship with the label deteriorated in the late 1990s, prompting his departure. In 2022, he acquired the label from MNRK Music Group, which Knight later contested, alleging bankruptcy fraud by his ex-partner to wrest ownership from him.
