SEVENTEEN member Jeonghan's solo track 'Better Half (feat. Omoinotake)' achieves global chart success despite military service

Jeonghan of SEVENTEEN has made a remarkable impact on music charts worldwide with his latest solo release, 'Better Half (feat. Omoinotake).'

Released on January 27th at 8 PM KST, the track quickly rose to the top of the real-time chart on Bugs, a popular Korean music platform, as confirmed by his agency, Pledis Entertainment. By January 28th, 9 AM KST, 'Better Half' had also secured a spot on the iTunes Top Songs charts in nine countries, including Japan, the Philippines, and Thailand.

The song, which showcases Jeonghan's heartfelt vocals complemented by Omoinotake's enchanting piano melodies, conveys a message of enduring love despite physical separation. Omoinotake, a Japanese piano trio renowned for their work on the theme song 'Ikuokukonen (幾億光年)' for the TBS drama 'Eye Love You,' collaborated with Jeonghan on this poignant track.

The Japanese rendition of 'Better Half' will be featured in Omoinotake's forthcoming album, slated for release on January 29th. Fans can also anticipate the unveiling of a studio recording video featuring Jeonghan on Omoinotake's official YouTube channel on the same day.

Against the backdrop of Jeonghan's solo success, SEVENTEEN is currently captivating audiences on their 'SEVENTEEN [RIGHT HERE] WORLD TOUR IN ASIA.' Following electrifying performances at the Philippine Sports Stadium in Bulacan and the Singapore National Stadium, the group is gearing up for shows at the Jakarta International Stadium on February 8th and 9th, and the Rajamangala National Stadium in Bangkok on February 15th and 16th.
