JYP Entertainment Takes Firm Stand Against Stalking of TWICE, Vows Legal Action
/Article

JYP Entertainment has recently addressed a concerning issue involving an individual sending inappropriate letters and images based on delusional beliefs, as well as trespassing around TWICE members' workplaces and residences. These actions have caused distress and anxiety for both the artists and those around them.

To ensure the safety and well-being of our artists, JYP Entertainment has heightened security measures and is closely monitoring the situation to take necessary actions against any further threats.

Under the "Act on Punishment of Stalking Crimes," persistent approaches near residences or workplaces, along with sending unwanted letters or materials, are classified as stalking behavior. The continuous sending of distressing letters and unauthorized presence near the artists' living spaces are clear violations of this law and can result in severe legal consequences.

JYP Entertainment emphasizes that such actions go against the wishes of our artists. If the individual does not cease these stalking behaviors promptly, we will pursue legal measures without leniency, ensuring a stringent response.

Our priority remains the protection and security of TWICE members at all times. Thank you to all the fans who support and care for TWICE. JYP Entertainment is committed to safeguarding our artists to the fullest extent.
