Meek Mill Reaches Out to Fans for Support in Overturning Questionable Tax Bill
Famed rapper Meek Mill is seeking assistance from his loyal followers in challenging a hefty tax bill that dates back to 2013, claiming the amount surpasses his reported income for that year.
Taking to social media platform X (Twitter) on Monday, Meek Mill expressed frustration over being required to pay nearly $3 million in taxes, which he believes exceeds his actual earnings. The artist questioned the logic behind the IRS demanding $2.8 million when his income for the specified year only amounted to $2 million.
While some supporters offered suggestions and advice, Meek Mill's Twitter feed was flooded with recommendations for him to consult with a professional accountant to navigate the complex tax issue.
Clarifying misconceptions, the rapper stated that he is not in debt to the IRS but rather contests the accuracy of the tax bill, emphasizing that the amount demanded does not align with his reported earnings from 2013.
In the midst of this tax turmoil, fans can anticipate a new collaboration between Meek Mill and Fridayy titled "Proud of Me." The track is set to be featured on Fridayy's upcoming album, "Some Days I’m Good Some Days I’m Not," slated for release on Friday, February 28.
