Koo Jun Yup Puts a Pause on Activities in Taiwan Indefinitely

In a report by Taiwanese media outlet ET Today on February 19, it was revealed that Koo Jun Yup has decided to indefinitely suspend all his public engagements, such as DJ shows, press conferences, and fan meetings.

Originally set to participate in a flash mob event in Taiwan this month, Koo Jun Yup had to call off his appearance, citing the overwhelming pain of loss as the reason. Additionally, he will not be present at a medical center inauguration event set for next month. Since the passing of Barbie Hsu, he has chosen to remain in Taiwan to provide support to her grieving family.

Expressing his desire for a personal space to remember Barbie Hsu, he mentioned, "I wish to have a place where I can visit her anytime." Following discussions with the family, they have decided on a different location for her final resting place, necessitating a delay in the funeral arrangements.

As for when he will resume his activities, there is no set timeline. Reports from local media suggest that Koo Jun Yup plans to make a decision once he has had the opportunity to heal from his emotional turmoil.

Barbie Hsu tragically passed away on February 2 at 7 AM in a Tokyo hospital, succumbing to pneumonia following hospitalization for flu-like symptoms. Recounting his deep sorrow, Koo Jun Yup remarked, "I am currently experiencing an unimaginable grief and pain, feeling like my very being is being ripped apart."
