SM Entertainment made the announcement on May 19th through Girls’ Generation’s official channels, revealing an event called “YOONA’s MINI ROOM.” The agency disclosed that the live stream would occur on May 30th at 5 PM KST to honor Yoona's birthday. Fans were invited to participate by completing a survey to help shape the content of the broadcast. Responses had to be submitted by May 21st at 11:59 PM KST for a chance for Yoona to interact with fans and respond in real time.

The birthday livestream, 'YOONA’s MINI ROOM,' will be available on Girls’ Generation’s official Weverse and TikTok channels on May 30th at 5 PM KST.

In other news, Yoona is presently working on the drama 'The Tyrant’s Chef', which is based on the web novel “Surviving as the Chef of Yeonsan-gun” by Park Gook-jae. The story revolves around Yeon Ji Young, played by Yoona, a French chef who time-travels and ends up serving a tyrannical king with a refined palate. This fantasy survival romance drama is scheduled to premiere in the latter half of 2025.
