TXT's Yeonjun and Soobin made a surprise appearance in episode 9 of tvN's 'Resident Playbook' drama on May 10. Before that, they had contributed to the show's soundtrack and then appeared as members of the fictional group HI-BOYZ, adding a fun moment for the audience.

'Resident Playbook' is a spin-off from 'Hospital Playlist' and follows the lives of medical residents at Yulje Medical Center. In episode 9, Um Jae Il, a first-year OB-GYN resident who was part of the disbanded HI-BOYZ idol group, is seen singing their song 'When the Day Comes' at a karaoke, with a video of Yeonjun and Soobin dancing in the background.

Even though only Yeonjun and Soobin appeared on screen, all five TXT members recorded the full song, to be released as part of the drama's OST on May 11 at 6 p.m. KST. A teaser was shown at the end of the episode, hinting at a well-produced performance video of HI-BOYZ with impressive visuals and choreography that fans are excited about.

The full 'When the Day Comes' performance video will be out on May 12 at 12 p.m. KST. TXT's involvement in both music and acting demonstrates their versatility and collaboration with 'Resident Playbook', giving fans a unique crossover experience.
