During the May 24th episode of the MBC variety show 'Hangout with Yoo' (Episode 281), Yoo Jae Suk and Lee Yi Kyung traveled to Tokyo, Japan, to meet up with actress Shim Eun Kyung. Lee Yi Kyung surprised Shim Eun Kyung with a gift he bought with his own money at a duty-free shop in anticipation of her upcoming birthday.

Upon receiving the gift, Shim Eun Kyung was taken aback and questioned the gesture, wondering if she could even accept such a present. The situation became clear when it was revealed that the gift bag actually contained a pack of cigarettes that Lee Yi Kyung had mistakenly bought for himself. Everyone shared a laugh as he promptly retrieved the cigarettes.

Fortunately, Lee Yi Kyung's actual gift - seasoned seaweed and individually packed kimchi - was well-received by Shim Eun Kyung, bringing her delight. Yoo Jae Suk commended the gift choice, describing it as considerate and smart.
