Lee Soo Geun's management company, Big Planet Made Entertainment, has disclosed their intention to take legal action against an individual who falsely posed as the comedian's manager and attempted to deceive others for financial gain.
Big Planet Made Entertainment released a statement on May 13, alerting the public about the impersonation scheme involving the fake manager who misrepresented the comedian to book expensive wine at various Ulsan restaurants, estimated at around 4 million KRW (approximately 2,900 USD). The agency advised caution to industry associates, warning them about potential further fraudulent activities and urging them to remain vigilant. They stressed the seriousness of the situation and confirmed their determination to take legal actions, both civil and criminal, against the impersonator.
"We acknowledge the seriousness of this matter and will pursue legal actions against any fraudulent behavior or impersonation," the agency declared. They also urged the public to report any suspicious activities to help prevent similar incidents.
The official statement from Big Planet Made Entertainment underscored the need for awareness and cooperation in addressing the fraudulent impersonation case involving Lee Soo Geun's manager, emphasizing the legal consequences that the impersonator may face as a result of their actions. Vigilance and collaboration from industry members were encouraged to thwart future occurrences of such deceptive activities and safeguard businesses from harm.
