Having originally followed Christianity, Lee Seung Gi embraced Buddhism before marrying actress Lee Da In, who hails from a devout Buddhist family. He now follows Buddhist customs, such as wearing prayer beads gifted by his mother-in-law, actress Gyeon Mi Ri.
Aside from his creative pursuits, Lee Seung Gi is committed to community work. He recently volunteered at the Jongno Senior Welfare Center, assisting in serving meals to elderly residents alongside members of the K-pop group The Boyz.
