During the press conference for the upcoming mystery melodrama 'Tangeum' on Netflix, actress Jo Bo Ah expressed her admiration for her co-star Lee Jae Wook. She mentioned that she respects him a lot and has learned from him.
In the series, Jo Bo Ah plays the character Jae Yi, a woman in search of her half-brother Hong Rang. Despite her doubts about his true identity when he returns, she finds herself becoming more attached to him.
Jo Bo Ah explained that she was drawn to the sibling affection theme in the drama because of her close relationship with her own younger sibling. She felt compelled to portray Jae Yi due to the strong bond she shares with her sibling.
She also praised Lee Jae Wook's dedication and passion for acting, the project, and his role. Jo Bo Ah admired his attitude on set and mentioned that working with him allowed her to learn a great deal.
'Tangeum' narrates the story of Hong Rang, the son of Joseon’s influential merchant family, who reappears after 12 years without any memory of his past. As Jae Yi begins to question his true identity as his half-sister, a complex emotional connection between them unfolds. The drama will premiere on May 16.
