HYBE Latin America is embarking on a journey to find a promising new Latin boy group.
The company recently hinted at its upcoming reality series, which will be available on platforms such as YouTube and X. The show will feature 16 male contestants who will undergo specialized training for six months to showcase their undiscovered musical abilities. Ultimately, the winners will be chosen to make up HYBE's inaugural Latin boy group.
A team consisting of vocal coaches, choreographers, producers, and fitness trainers, including notable mentors like Kenny Ortega and Charm La'Donna, will guide the contestants. Jaime Escallón and Lucas Jaramillo will supervise the project as the main producers.
The goal of HYBE Latin America is to blend the distinctive training structure of K-Pop with the rich cultural diversity of Latin America to create a truly unique global boy group. The selection process for the group members will feature a one-of-a-kind format, spanning various platforms including television, streaming services, and social media.
Additionally, HYBE Latin America is preparing to launch "Pasa a la Fama," the company's first Mexican band audition show in collaboration with Telemundo, slated to debut on June 8th.
