The popular idol group HI-BOYZ, known from the popular drama 'Resident Playbook,' is making a transition from the screen to a live performance.

News1 Korea announced on May 16 that HI-BOYZ is set to make an appearance on Mnet's music show 'M Countdown,' with the team finalizing the necessary arrangements.

Later, a representative from 'M Countdown' confirmed the news, stating, “It has been confirmed that HI-BOYZ from Resident Playbook will be participating in the show,” and added, “They are scheduled to make their appearance on the broadcast on May 22.”

In 'Resident Playbook,' Yeonjun and Soobin from TXT had cameo roles as former bandmates of Um Jae Il, portrayed by Kang You Seok, a resident at Yulje Medical Center’s Jongro branch who was part of HI-BOYZ before their disbandment.

Fans are eagerly anticipating the performance of the drama's fictional group on stage. The last two episodes of Resident Playbook will air on May 17 and 18 at 9:20 p.m. KST, while 'M Countdown' is broadcasted every Thursday at 6 p.m. KST.
