G-Dragon has recently revealed the details of the next phase of his third global tour. He shared a tour poster for ‘G-DRAGON 2025 WORLD TOUR [Übermensch]’ on his official fan social media on May 13th KST, unveiling the upcoming concert schedule.
The poster indicates that G-Dragon will be heading to Sydney and Melbourne in Australia in July, followed by a concert in Bangkok, Thailand in August, as part of his ongoing world tour. Fans in Thailand are particularly excited as he previously appeared at the Rajamangala National Stadium for the K-pop event ‘K-STAR SPARK’ in February and will now be returning for a solo concert.
The ‘Übermensch’ tour commenced with sold-out shows at the Tokyo Dome on May 10th and 11th. This marked G-Dragon’s return to the venue after eight years since his 2017 ‘Act III, M.O.T.T.E World Tour.’ The packed performances at the Tokyo Dome demonstrated his massive global popularity, making him the first solo K-pop artist to achieve such a feat.
Inspired by Friedrich Nietzsche’s concept of “Übermensch,” the tour explores this philosophical idea through art, incorporating advanced technologies like AI. The narrative of transformation into a “superman” is presented in three acts, enhanced by G-Dragon’s distinctive style and engaging interaction with fans, resulting in high praise for its creativity and innovation.
After Tokyo, G-Dragon will head to Bulacan starting May 17th before moving on to other Asian cities such as Osaka, Macau, Taipei, Kuala Lumpur, Jakarta, Hong Kong, and Bangkok, and finally Sydney and Melbourne in Australia. More tour dates and locations are expected to be announced soon.
