Ko Woo Rim, a member of the vocal group Forestella and the husband of famous figure skater Kim Yuna, finished his mandatory military service as a sergeant in the Army Band on May 19. He enlisted in November 2022 and served diligently for one year and six months. During his service, he took part in official events such as performing on KBS2's 'Immortal Songs' Armed Forces Day special and singing the national anthem at the 105th March 1st Movement Anniversary Ceremony.

Before entering the military, Ko Woo Rim was actively involved in promoting Forestella at their 2023 Forestella Festival and had his first solo concert named ‘[#000000] BLACK’, showcasing his popularity both as a group member and a solo artist.

To celebrate his return, Ko Woo Rim will engage with fans through a live broadcast on YouTube at 8 p.m. KST today, accompanied by his Forestella bandmates. With Ko Woo Rim now discharged, all four Forestella members have completed their military service, transforming them into a fully "military-completed group."

Furthermore, Forestella will start recruiting for the 3rd generation of their official fan club “Soopbyeol” via the Fromm fandom platform commencing May 20. As they mark their 7th debut anniversary this year, Forestella plans to continue engaging with fans through various musical releases and live performances.
