According to reports from a media outlet on May 7 KST, a former director, 'A', accused of molesting members of the idol group OMEGA X, has been sent to the prosecution.

In August 2023, seven OMEGA X members filed a lawsuit against 'A', who used to be the director of SPIRE Entertainment, for molestation. The members alleged that during their Latin American tour in September 2022, 'A' would forcibly link arms with them or embrace them while under the influence. One member also mentioned an incident in July of the same year where 'A' inappropriately touched his thigh during a meeting.

Following an investigation, the police found 'A' guilty of workplace molestation involving six OMEGA X members and referred the case to the prosecution. However, the lawsuit filed by the seventh member, Hwichan, was dropped by the police.

Additionally, 'A' is also facing legal proceedings for an assault case with OMEGA X member Jaehan. Jaehan accused 'A' of grabbing his hood and throwing him to the ground in a hotel lobby in October 2022. Initially, the prosecution ruled in favor of Jaehan, ordering 'A' to pay a 500,000 KRW fine. 'A' contested this decision and requested a formal trial, scheduled for July.

In 2023, OMEGA X parted ways with SPIRE Entertainment due to various lawsuits involving assault, verbal abuse, and molestation, and joined a new agency, IPQ.
