SHINee is marking their 17th debut anniversary with the release of a new single called "Poet | Artist." The single, which will be available on major music streaming platforms at midnight KST on May 25, features two tracks: the title track "Poet | Artist" and the B-side "Starlight."

"Poet | Artist" is an electro-pop song with a vocal riff, crisp snare drums, and a reggae-inspired rhythm. It was written and composed by the late Jonghyun for SHINee, conveying a message about breaking boundaries and embracing creative freedom in both art and everyday life.

This single follows SHINee's last release in June 2023, which featured the hip-hop title track "HARD" from their 8th full-length album. The group's upcoming release is expected to showcase their unique musical style and commitment to artistic innovation once again.

In addition to the digital release, fans can also purchase a physical album version of "Poet | Artist" starting May 26, with pre-orders available from May 19 through online and offline music retailers.
