Famous entrepreneur Damon Dash is in hot water as creditors, including a renowned author and filmmaker, push to seize his business assets amid a financial and legal crisis.

Edwyna Brooks, the successful author and entrepreneur, is taking dramatic steps to claim what she's owed from Dash after winning a substantial judgment of $78,289.57 for copyright infringement in 2019. Seeking to auction off Dash's stakes in key companies like Poppington LLC and The Dash Group LLC, Brooks is determined to collect on her long-overdue victory.

Brooks isn’t stopping there. She's going the extra mile by demanding the auction of Poppington’s lucrative intellectual property rights, potentially stripping Dash and his partner of valuable assets linked to their film production ventures.

But it doesn’t end with Brooks. Filmmaker Josh Webber, who secured an $823,284.71 judgment against Dash for defamation and contract breaches related to the movie Dear Frank, is also on the hunt for Dash's remaining assets after being publicly attacked by the entrepreneur.

Webber’s legal team is swiftly moving to claim Dash’s personal assets, from luxurious watches to potential revenue from his past film and music endeavors, emphasizing that Dash's recent efforts to sell his Roc-A-Fella Records stake fell short of erasing his hefty debts.

Despite Dash’s attempt to maneuver assets between businesses to evade payment, creditors like Brooks and Webber are utilizing New York's legal system to compel the liquidation of his holdings. Their joint efforts are a clear signal that they won’t rest until they see justice served and receive the compensation they rightfully deserve.
