Fans and celebrities flocked to the iconic Radio City Music Hall in NYC for the electrifying "SNL50: The Homecoming Concert” on Friday (February 14).

Kendrick Lamar stole the spotlight at the Saturday Night Live 50th anniversary special, captivating the audience at the Radio City Music Hall in New York City for the dazzling event dubbed “SNL50: The Homecoming Concert.”

Hosted by the charismatic Jimmy Fallon, the three-hour extravaganza featured an incredible lineup of musical performances and appearances by both past and present SNL cast members. The hilarious duo of Will Ferrell and Ana Gasteyer revived their beloved SNL characters, Marty Culp and Bobbi Mohan-Culp, to deliver a comical rendition of Kendrick’s Grammy-winning Drake diss track, “Not Like Us.” The audience, including A-listers like Amy Schumer, Martin Short, and Meryl Streep, erupted in laughter at their performance.

The show, masterfully produced by Lorne Michaels and Mark Ronson, celebrated the diverse array of artists who have graced the SNL stage over the years. From the powerhouse vocals of Lady Gaga to the infectious energy of Miley Cyrus, and the iconic melodies of legends like Brandi Carlile and David Byrne, the concert was a true musical spectacle.

Highlights included Lady Gaga’s soul-stirring rendition of “D— in a Box” with Andy Samberg, igniting a medley tribute to The Lonely Island’s iconic SNL parodies. Post Malone also joined Nirvana’s surviving members for a riveting performance of “Smells Like Teen Spirit,” much to the crowd’s delight.

Just days before this electrifying event, Kendrick Lamar headlined the Apple Music Super Bowl Halftime Show in New Orleans, where he mesmerized the audience with a stellar performance of “Not Like Us,” leaving everyone in awe except, perhaps, Drake.
