Reports have surfaced of a shooting incident during the Philadelphia Eagles Super Bowl parade on Friday (February 14), where two women were allegedly shot while the city rejoiced in the team's win against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Witnesses disclosed that the shooting took place on Philadelphia's Ben Franklin Parkway in the Spring Garden neighborhood, with two female victims sustaining leg injuries. Despite the commotion, the extensive crowd seemed to be unaware of the gunfire as the women sought medical assistance at the nearby medic tent on 23rd and Spring Garden streets, presently in stable condition.

Authorities are working to unravel the events surrounding the shooting, with speculations pointing towards a suspect wearing a gray Eagles jersey who is currently at large.

Amid the revelry, Philadelphia Mayor Cherelle Parker had advised fans to celebrate responsibly and refrain from climbing light poles. The parade's security measures included a strong police presence, barricades, and precautionary roadblocks along the route.

As of now, no arrests have been made regarding the shooting, with the investigation ongoing to shed light on the circumstances leading to this unsettling incident.
