On February 12, exciting news emerged that Hanni from the beloved K-pop sensation NewJeans, now going by NJZ, has secured a fresh visa.

Reports from Hankyoreh reveal that Hanni's new visa was obtained with the assistance of an administrative official, although specifics about the type of visa and the entity facilitating it remain undisclosed.

Hanni, a proud holder of dual citizenship in Australia and Vietnam, had previously been renewing her E-6 Entertainment Visa yearly under the management of ADOR. However, following NewJeans' decision to part ways with ADOR, there were uncertainties surrounding Hanni's visa renewal.

In response, ADOR reassured fans that the group's exclusive contract remains unchanged, and all necessary procedures for extending Hanni's visa were in progress.

Despite this, some ill-intentioned individuals falsely accused Hanni of residing illegally. Lawmaker Park Ji Won highlighted these claims in a recent session of the National Assembly's Legislation and Judiciary Committee, urging the Ministry of Justice to intervene promptly. "The talented idol Hanni is facing potential deportation over baseless allegations of illegal stay," Park emphasized. "It is crucial for the Ministry of Justice to support artists like her in pursuing their careers unhindered."

On another note, the members of NJZ have unveiled their decision to rebrand the group and will drop a fresh single on March 23. Their upcoming performance at the 'Complex Live' event, happening from March 21 to 23 at Hong Kong's 'AsiaWorld-Expo,' has also sparked enthusiasm among fans.
