K-pop star Chanyeol of EXO fame has made headlines for his incredible philanthropy, joining the ranks of esteemed donors making a difference.

During a recent ceremony at the Snail of Love non-profit organization on February 7, Chanyeol was officially inducted into the prestigious 'Soul Leader Club' as their 14th member, recognizing his substantial contributions.

Chanyeol's donations have now exceeded 99 million KRW (~68,027 USD), with a focus on supporting 13 children with hearing impairments through funding for crucial cochlear implant surgeries and speech rehabilitation since 2021.

Not only does Chanyeol consistently give monthly donations, but he also goes the extra mile with special contributions on significant occasions like Children’s Day and Christmas, including a generous one-time donation of 20 million KRW (~13,743 USD) at the end of last year.

Expressing his gratitude during the ceremony, Chanyeol remarked, "Supporting Snail of Love has been a meaningful journey for me since 2021. I am truly honored to deepen my connection with the organization through this induction."

Looking ahead, he emphasized his commitment as a Soul Leader donor, stating, "I feel a strong sense of responsibility and will continue exploring ways to make a positive impact."
