Former MBC announcer Kim Dae Ho has landed his first permanent role on a variety show since becoming an independent freelancer. In an exclusive report by Xports News, it was revealed on the 7th that he is set to feature in Season 2 of MBC every1’s popular program, The Great Guide, scheduled to premiere in the first half of the year.

Kim charmed audiences with his candid personality during the pilot of the show in 2023, where he journeyed to Italy under the mentorship of Alberto Mondi, accompanied by actor Ko Kyu Pil, singer Doojoon, and musician Jo Hyun Ah. After a hiatus of eighteen months, he is making a comeback as a travel buddy in 'The Great Guide 2,' taking a significant step into the diverse world of variety entertainment.

'The Great Guide' stands out as a reality travel series that showcases hidden local treasures in the home countries of long-term foreign residents in Korea. Initially introduced as an eight-episode pilot, the show captured hearts with its visits to Italy and Egypt in 2023. Its immersive storytelling and distinctive perspectives garnered praise, leading to a full season and exciting trips to the UK, Mexico, and India last year.
