In a viral YouTube video by Kwangjae Sister, popular actor Kwon Sang Woo opens up about a shocking health scare involving a parasite.

The video captures a casual conversation between Kwon Sang Woo and actor Park Kwang Jae at a BBQ joint, as Kwon Sang Woo expresses his love for liver and beef tripe dishes. He recalls a memorable incident while filming the drama 'Big Thing' in 2010 with actress Go Hyun Jung, where he indulged in these delicacies at nearby beef shops.

However, the health scare came to light during a routine check-up that year, where Kwon Sang Woo's lungs appeared white on a CT scan. Shocked by the diagnosis of a parasite infection from his favorite foods, Kwon shared his initial fears of mortality.

Following the doctor's advice, Kwon Sang Woo underwent treatment and steered clear of liver and beef tripe for years to come. The actor, married to actress Son Tae Young since 2008, has two adorable children - a son and a daughter.
