HYBE has officially announced the sale of its complete ownership in SM Entertainment. Through a filing made with the Financial Supervisory Service on the 27th, it was revealed that HYBE plans to sell its entire stake of approximately 2.21 million shares in SM Entertainment to Tencent Music for about 243 billion won. The transaction is set to take place on May 30 after the market closes in a block deal, with each share priced at 110,000 won.

This decision signifies the conclusion of HYBE's investment in SM Entertainment, which originally started in 2023.
