ILLIT has achieved a significant streaming milestone prior to their upcoming comeback next month. Spotify data unveiled on May 25 revealed that the group’s debut song 'Magnetic' has exceeded 600,505,284 streams by May 23, making it the fastest K-pop debut track to reach 600 million plays on the platform.

'Magnetic,' the lead single from their debut mini album 'SUPER REAL ME,' blends Pluggnb and house music genres, depicting the sensation of falling in love as a magnetic attraction. The song's clever lyrics and distinctive finger-pointing choreography sparked a global dance craze.

Upon its release in March 2024, 'Magnetic' quickly gained worldwide recognition, dominating Korean music charts and making history as the first and quickest K-pop debut song to enter both the Billboard Hot 100 and UK Official Singles Top 100.

Despite being over a year old, the song continues to maintain its popularity on national streaming charts, securing top positions well into 2024. It also achieved the highest year-end rankings of any K-pop track across various global streaming platforms that year.

ILLIT, consisting of members Yunah, Minju, Moka, Wonhee, and Ririka, is gearing up for the release of their third mini album 'bomb' on June 16. They have already provided glimpses of the title track 'Do the Dance' and other B-side tracks, generating significant anticipation among fans worldwide.
