Mathematician and analyst Fred Krueger has made a bold prediction about the future price of Bitcoin (BTC). He anticipates that Bitcoin's price could surge from approximately $150,000 on July 21, 2025, to $600,000 by around October 19, 2025.
Krueger's forecast, named "The Final Run," suggests a series of hypothetical global events that could trigger this significant increase in Bitcoin's value. He envisions a scenario where traditional financial systems collapse, leading alternative assets like Bitcoin and gold to become prominent.
The prediction involves a sequence of events beginning with a failed $200 billion US Treasury auction on July 21, 2025, causing a lack of confidence in the dollar. Krueger foresees the BRICS countries establishing a payment system based on gold and Bitcoin after this event.
By August, countries like Venezuela, Turkey, and Nigeria are speculated to shift their foreign exchange reserves to BTC. The analyst also predicts that Treasury yields will sharply rise above 8.5% in September.
Krueger further anticipates a 35% decline in US real estate prices within three weeks, heightening financial instability. Additionally, he expects major tech companies to start adopting Bitcoin.
This series of imagined events culminates in October with a summit referred to as the "New Bretton Woods." During this summit, it is projected that the US will reform the dollar to be partially backed by Bitcoin and gold.
Krueger predicts that during this period, Bitcoin's value will reach $600,000, gold will be priced at $10,400, oil at $180 per barrel, with the dollar index (DXY) at 68.
In addition to this forecast, Krueger also suggests a significant downturn in the stock market, predicting a 50% crash in the S&P 500. These predictions follow his earlier projection regarding Bitcoin.
Krueger had previously estimated a 77% likelihood of Bitcoin hitting an all-time high in 2025, a prediction that appears to be unfolding. Another analyst, Ted Pillows, pointed out the record-high M2 money supply in major economies and the potential impact on Bitcoin's price due to the correlation between M2 and BTC.
Furthermore, Bitcoin has already achieved new all-time highs in countries with high inflation like Argentina and Turkey, raising hopes for a similar trend in the US. Market data supports an optimistic outlook on Bitcoin, with factors such as increased capital flowing into the cryptocurrency market and positive price performance.
Tracy Jin, the COO of MEXC, believes that based on Bitcoin's recent growth trends, the asset could potentially reach $150,000 by the end of 2025. Jin highlighted Bitcoin's growing popularity as a long-term safeguard against fiat risks and sovereign debt, especially in the face of global economic uncertainties. She emphasized that Bitcoin is becoming a strategic asset in modern portfolio strategies, driven by increasing institutional interest and its role as a macro asset with long-term value regardless of short-term price fluctuations.
