E’LAST is currently experiencing a significant surge in their career. The group recently made a successful return on May 7th KST with their fifth mini album 'Versus', which quickly topped the iTunes K-pop album chart in New Zealand, secured the 3rd position in the United States, and 11th in Japan, reaching the charts in a total of eight countries. Their title track 'Crazy Train' and other B-side tracks also achieved high rankings on the iTunes K-pop Song Chart in countries like the United States, United Kingdom, and Canada, signaling E’LAST's emergence as a promising global idol group.
Additionally, the album is receiving favorable reception in Korea, as it attained the 7th spot on the Hanteo Chart's weekly physical album chart for the period of May 12–18, indicating a sustained positive trend.
‘Versus’ represents E’LAST’s first offering in a year since their previous full-length album 'Everlasting' in May 2023. The album comprises five tracks: ‘Crazy Train,’ ‘GOTHAM,’ ‘EMERGENCY,’ ‘DRIVE,’ and ‘MISERY.’ Notably, esteemed producer Ryan Jhun contributed to the album, while members Won Hyuk and Won Jun were involved in penning the lyrics for ‘EMERGENCY,’ showcasing the group's unique musical style and creativity.
