Recent developments involving NewJeans member Danielle have caused speculation and confusion among fans as the update was swiftly removed.

On May 19, Emotional Oranges, a duo from Los Angeles renowned for their innovative R&B and pop stylings, posted a picture with Danielle on their global social media account. The image featured an emoji mashup with an orange for the duo and a bunny symbol associated with NewJeans. Alongside the photo was a cryptic caption stating, "Stay tuned. Something is on the way," hinting at a potential solo project by Danielle.

In the snapshot, Danielle is seen sporting denim jeans, a hoodie, and sunglasses, radiating a relaxed yet chic vibe. The teaser generated buzz, particularly given the circumstances surrounding NewJeans at present, with the group currently inactive following their decision to part ways with their agency, ADOR.

However, the post was soon taken down, leaving fans bewildered and eager for more information.

Prior to this, on May 16, Emotional Oranges dropped their latest album, "Orenjii," on major music platforms worldwide. The album features collaborations with prominent artists like NCT’s Jaehyun, Jessie Reyez, Becky G, Anitta, and Isaiah Falls, elevating its reach and popularity.

Emotional Oranges, comprised of Azad and Vali, made their debut in 2019 and are known for their distinctive blend of genres and experimental approach to music, as evident in tracks such as 'Motion' and 'Personal.' Their trilogy series 'The Juice' further solidified their reputation. The duo has garnered over 670 million streams and performed at renowned festivals like 'Lollapalooza,' 'Coachella,' and Something in the Water. Their show 'House of Wonder' in Korea completely sold out.

On the other hand, NewJeans is currently entangled in a legal dispute with ADOR. Since November of the previous year, the group has been endeavoring to dissolve their exclusive contracts. Despite contesting the ruling and declaring their disassociation from ADOR, their activities under the moniker 'NJZ' have been put on hold, resulting in the group being on hiatus.
