Hyungwon from MONSTA X organized a special fan gathering called 'Hyungwon’s Wonder Garden' in Seoul on May 17, just four days after completing his 18-month military service. The event, consisting of two sessions, quickly sold out, marking a heartfelt reunion with fans who had eagerly anticipated his comeback.

He surprised the audience by appearing with a bouquet and kicked off the event with a heartfelt rendition of Damon’s Year's 'Window', a song that holds special meaning to him. Warmly welcoming the MONBEBE, he expressed, “I was anxious about meeting you all again, but I wanted to share something meaningful.”

During the '546 Days: A Flower in Bloom' segment, Hyungwon shared stories from his military service, showcasing his humor and sincerity through photos and anecdotes, including humorous moments and playing the trombone borrowed from Kihyun.

In the 'MONBEBE in Bloom' part, Hyungwon read touching fan letters received through Berriz, eliciting tears and laughter among the attendees, including letters from a birthday fan and one written in a Busan dialect.

He then treated the fans to a medley performance of songs like 'Igloo', 'Magnetic', 'One Day I LOVE YOU', 'Siren', and 'Boom Boom Bass', demonstrating that his performance skills were as sharp as ever. The energy persisted with a post-it challenge segment, where he fulfilled fans' wishes by engaging in popular dance challenges and performing MONSTA X tracks like 'Fallin’', 'Rodeo', and 'ZONE'.

Fun activities like 'Charades' and 'Whatever MONBEBE Asks' encouraged further fan interaction, with Hyungwon generously giving away 100 autographed posters per session to winners—a gesture illustrating his gratitude.

Wrapping up the event, Hyungwon expressed, “No matter how harsh the world may seem, I hope this place remains your safe space.” He concluded with a performance of Woody's 'Just Throw Something On' and personally bid farewell to departing fans, ending the day on an emotional note.

Through a statement from Starship Entertainment, he later remarked, “Meeting the MONBEBE again after such a long time made me nervous but extremely happy. I hope this day stays as memorable for you as it will be for me. Let's meet more often, laugh more, and share more happiness together. I love you, MONBEBE.”

Hyungwon will resume official activities by serving as an MC at the 'Asia Star Entertainer Awards 2025' on May 29.
