In an event held at Conrad Seoul in Seoul to mark the launch of IVE's highly anticipated third mini-album, 'IVE EMPATHY,' Jang Won Young expressed her sentiments on the fresh release.

'IVE EMPATHY' introduces the group's return after a hiatus of about nine months following their last album, 'IVE SWITCH,' in April 2024. The album's lead track, "ATTITUDE," which is set to drop today, emphasizes the message that while circumstances may be fixed, one's attitude towards them can be transformative. This empowering anthem encourages a positive outlook when facing challenges.

Renowned for popularizing the viral trends "Wonyoung-esque Thinking" and "Lucky Vicky," Jang Won Young, exudes confidence and authenticity in the lyrics, enhancing the track's sincerity.

The concept of "Lucky Vicky" originated from the coined term "Wonyoung-esque Thinking," encapsulating Jang Won Young's inclination to view situations optimistically. This phrase combines the word "Lucky" with Jang Won Young's English name, "Vicky," symbolizing a mindset rooted in positivity and optimism.

Addressing her inadvertent influence on the "Lucky Vicky" phenomenon, Jang Won Young modestly reflected, "I never consciously attributed it to 'Wonyoung-esque Thinking' or 'Lucky Vicky' – this is just how I've always approached life." She acknowledged the positive reception of her mindset by the public and expressed gratitude for the labels given to her. Embracing the ethos of "Lucky Vicky," she humorously remarked, "Perhaps this is the essence of true Lucky Vicky," eliciting laughter from the audience.

Notably, 'IVE EMPATHY' comprises six tracks, including the double title tracks "REBEL HEART" and "ATTITUDE," as well as "FLU," "You Wanna Cry," "Thank U," and "TKO." The album will be available for streaming and purchase on various platforms from 6 PM KST today.
