Kim Boa, the leader of the music group SPICA, is set to wed this summer. The news, reported by Sports Donga on May 14, stated that she will marry her boyfriend, a composer who is four years younger, on July 17 at a private location in Seoul.
In a public message shared in their wedding invitation, the couple expressed their gratitude, mentioning how quickly they realized their compatibility. They described reaching the moment when they both knew they were meant for each other, and they welcomed support as they transition from being two individuals to one united couple.
Kim Boa rose to fame as SPICA's leader after debuting in 2012. Even before her debut, she had showcased her vocal talents by working as a guide and chorus singer on albums for popular artists like T-ara, KARA, Girls’ Generation, and Insooni. Notably, she was also recognized as the junior labelmate of Lee Hyori and gained prominence through her involvement in the reality show Hyori’s X Sister, where she was fondly known as part of “Hyori’s little sister girl group.”
