During the production press conference for the movie 'Hi.5' at Lotte Cinema Konkuk University in Seoul on May 12, director Kang Hyeong Cheol addressed Yoo Ah In's screen time amidst the actor's drug controversy. Alongside actors Lee Jae In, Ahn Jae Hong, Ra Mi Ran, Kim Hee Won, Oh Jung Se, Park Jin Young, and Kang, the event took place.

In response to inquiries about the editing of Yoo Ah In's scenes due to the ongoing drug controversy, director Kang expressed disappointment, mentioning that it would have been preferable if such an issue had not arisen, but emphasized that during the production period, the film was still in progress and the focus was on post-production work.

He emphasized the need to resolve major issues promptly, citing a childhood lesson, and acknowledged his responsibility as the leader to ensure the film's completion and the actors' performances. According to Kang, minimal editing was necessary in this context.

'Hi.5' is a comedy-action film that follows the journey of five individuals who acquire unique superpowers through organ transplants, leading to conflicts with others desiring their abilities. The movie is scheduled to debut on May 30.
