Lee Jin Ho, a renowned YouTuber from the channel 'Entertainment President Lee Jin Ho,' held a press conference at the SpaceShare Samsung Station Center in Gangnam, Seoul, on May 7th to address allegations made by Garosero Research Institute (HoverLab) regarding a recorded conversation involving the late Kim Sae Ron. In the recording, Kim Sae Ron claimed she had been harassed by Lee Jin Ho and a reporter named 'Kang,' with suggestions of Lee Jin Ho's involvement in bullying.
Garosero Research Institute released the recording where Kim Sae Ron mentioned Lee Jin Ho and expressed distress over the ongoing harassment she faced. However, Lee Jin Ho denied the claims, labeling them as a "clear manipulation" and questioning the authenticity of the tapes. He revealed that the individual suspected of creating the tapes was a fraudster from New Jersey known for voice phishing scams to extract money from victims.
Lee Jin Ho explained that the tapes were manipulated using AI-generated voices, with the fraudster adding his voice and noise to create the false impression of a genuine recording. Investigations revealed that the fraudster had demanded money from both Lee Jin Ho and Kim Soo Hyun. After verifying the tapes, it was confirmed that they were not authentic. The fraudster had even created different versions of the recording with AI technology to mimic Kim Sae Ron's voice convincingly.
Lee Jin Ho emphasized that the fraudulent actions had been exposed, clarifying that the claims were an attempt to exploit a tragic situation for wrongful motives.
