Actress Kim Ok Bin was taken to the hospital due to an eye injury that resulted in the temporary pause of filming for 'Jungle Bob 2,' a show on SBS. The situation unfolded on the recent episode of the show on May 1, where viewers saw Kim in pain, leading to an urgent stop in production.

While in a car, Kim was shown wiping her eyes, visibly uncomfortable. Co-star Ryu Soo Young, noticing her distress, asked if something had gotten into her eye. Kim responded that her vision was blurry, despite nothing getting in, and she continued to tear up and express extreme discomfort.

Kim had previously gone on a deep-sea dive, going as deep as 20 meters to catch seafood. She suspected the defogging solution she used on her diving mask underwater might have caused the issue. Even after washing her eyes, her condition didn't improve, with her struggling with blurred vision and discomfort.

The cast members urged her to seek medical help, and Kim was swiftly taken to a nearby hospital. Medical staff mentioned that it seemed like something had entered her eye, and after treatment, she was expected to recover.

After the treatment, Kim assured the production team, stating that something might have entered her eye during the dive, but with rinsing and medication, her cornea would likely heal quickly with rest in a day or two.

This incident shed light on the risks involved in outdoor survival shows and the significance of immediate medical assistance during remote shooting locations.
