As per reports from media outlets on May 2 KST, it is reported that TWICE member Jihyo has acquired a building in Sungsu-dong, Sungdong-gu, Seoul, for approximately 4 billion KRW (around $2.8 million USD). The purchase records show no mortgage, suggesting that Jihyo may have paid the full amount in cash.

Jihyo became the owner of the Sungsu building in March last year, with the ownership officially transferred to her by the month's end. In April, she was registered as a residential landlord and listed her building as a rental property.

The building, constructed in 1986 and now almost 40 years old, comprises one basement floor and three above-ground floors. The first floor accommodates a real estate office and a restaurant, the second floor has offices, and the third floor has residential units. Situated a 10-minute walk away from various bustling commercial areas in Seongsu-dong, the building is strategically located.

Experts speculate that Jihyo's purchase of the building was more for its potential value in the Han River redevelopment zone rather than its current rental income.

Additionally, TWICE members recently performed at Coldplay's 'Music of the Spheres' kickoff concert in South Korea.
