The show's team recognized that the approach taken in this particular situation was not appropriate. The family member of the deceased victim expressed frustration and disapproval over the show's insensitivity towards their tragedy, prompting backlash online. In response, the production team vowed to enhance their procedures for guest selection and reiterated their sympathy and regret to the grieving family. The sinkhole accident, which resulted in the loss of Mr. Park's life, occurred on Dongnam-ro in Myeongil-dong on March 24.
