The original series 'Weak Hero Class 2' on Netflix has garnered widespread attention globally by quickly climbing to the No. 2 spot on the global TV show rankings within just one day of its release.

The new season has raised the bar for school action dramas and exemplified the cross-cultural appeal of Korean content, demonstrating its ability to transcend boundaries. According to FlixPatrol, the show premiered on April 25 and by April 26 had accumulated 708 points, propelling it to the No. 2 position worldwide in a mere 24 hours. It entered the charts in 91 out of 93 countries where Netflix is accessible. By April 27, it retained its global No. 2 ranking for a second consecutive day and claimed the top spot in 32 countries, a significant increase from the previous day.

The drama has garnered immense popularity in a variety of regions, including Korea, Vietnam, Thailand, Taiwan, Singapore, Saudi Arabia, the Philippines, Peru, Paraguay, Mexico, and Malaysia. Notable was its debut at No. 7 on the U.K. chart, a market it had not previously entered with its initial season.

The show's performance in English-speaking nations has also been impressive. It ranked No. 3 in the U.S., No. 5 in Australia, No. 7 in Canada, and No. 4 in New Zealand, major markets for Netflix productions.

'Weak Hero Class 2' follows the story of Yeon Si Eun (portrayed by Park Ji Hoon), a transfer student to Eunjang High School who grapples with the trauma of failing to protect a friend. He encounters escalating violence at his new school, engaging in a fierce struggle for survival and personal development. Season 2 introduces new characters such as Ryeoun (playing Park Hoo Min), Choi Min Young (as Seo Jun Tae), Lee Min Jae (as Go Hyun Tak), Yoo Su Bin (as Choi Hyo Man), Bae Na Ra (as Na Baek Jin), and Lee Jun Young (as Geum Sung Je).
