This information is considered as evidence that Kim Soo Hyun and Kim Sae Ron were not in a romantic relationship during that time frame.

Initially, based on KakaoTalk messages disclosed by the late Kim Sae Ron's camp, she had stated that she and Kim Soo Hyun dated from late 2015 to July 2021, including when she was a minor. However, Money Today's investigation reveals that Kim Soo Hyun was actually involved with 'A' from late 2016 to spring 2019. Kim Soo Hyun and 'A' got to know each other as they were both part of the same agency. Their relationship was known within the entertainment industry and considered an "open secret."

According to industry insiders, Kim Soo Hyun dated 'A' from 2017 to 2019 and then began dating Kim Sae Ron from 2019 to 2020. Money Today provided information suggesting that it was highly improbable that Kim Soo Hyun and Kim Sae Ron were together for six years from 2015 to 2021, as Kim Sae Ron was reportedly involved with other partners in 2016, 2018, and 2021, including singer WOODZ in 2021, openly sharing these relationships.

Additionally, Money Today highlighted apparent discrepancies in the evidence presented by Kim Sae Ron's side and the YouTube channel HOVERLAB. Aligning with Kim Soo Hyun's camp, the report stated that the photos purportedly from 2016 were actually taken after 2019, and the unidentified male individual seen with Kim Sae Ron in other photos was not Kim Soo Hyun.
