Sooyoung from Girls' Generation has been cast as Katla Park in the upcoming Hollywood movie 'Ballerina', which is a spinoff of the popular 'John Wick' series. Recently, 'Ballerina' released character posters, including Sooyoung as Katla Park, Ana de Armas as Eve Macarro, and Keanu Reeves as John Wick. Katla Park is depicted as the daughter of a Ruska Roma member named Il Seong.

'Ballerina' is scheduled to premiere in U.S. theaters on June 6 ET, and it is centered around Eve, an assassin trained in the Ballerina program within the 'John Wick' universe seeking revenge against those who have harmed her. Along the way, she encounters familiar faces from the 'John Wick' franchise, with one of her initial missions being to protect Katla Park.

In addition to her role in 'Ballerina', Sooyoung will also be appearing in the new tvN series 'Second Shot at Love', which is set to premiere on May 12 KST.
