On April 24 KST, Wonwoo from Seventeen was seen leading his fellow new recruits during a ceremony to mark the completion of his basic training. He confidently confirmed the successful training of all new recruits with vigor as he marched onto the ceremony field with fellow flag bearers.

Wonwoo began his mandatory basic military training on April 3 KST and will be serving the remainder of his duties as a public service worker. He is expected to be discharged on January 2, 2027. Wonwoo is the second Seventeen member currently carrying out his mandatory service, alongside Jeonghan.
