One particular post featured an eyewitness account and purported photos of Taeil shared on April 21. The individual mentioned spotting Taeil out drinking even before his first court appearance. The poster recalled a friend encountering Taeil at a restaurant and attempting to take photos of him, but was discouraged by an acquaintance claiming Taeil was going through a rough period.

This sighting marked Taeil's first public appearance since his involvement in a case concerning the alleged sexual assault of an intoxicated woman. Subsequent to the police investigation, Taeil was promptly announced to be leaving NCT by SM Entertainment.
